Collection contains personal correspondence, materials from the LA Chamber of Commerce, clippings about Moore, papers concerning education in the LA area, reprints of articles sent to Moore, a catalog of Moore's library, and microfilm of Moore's diaries, appointment books, and commonplace books. In addition to writings and book reviews by Moore, the collection contains manuscripts and research materials for Moore's books: I helped make a university (1952) and The story of instruction (1936). Also contains materials related to the loyalty oath controversy at UCLA.
