Martin Luther Jubilee files (1967, 1974, 1977, 1979-1984) contain correspondence, Jubilee Executive Committee minutes and agenda, memoranda, reports, conference participant and presenter lists and resumes, brochures, flyers, newsletters, news releases, stationery samples, and publications concerning the 500th anniversary of Martin Luther's birth and planning activities and celebration festivities of the Martin Luther Jubilee, held in Washington, D.C. on November 6-12, 1983. Files specifically regard Jubilee funding and budget issues; articles and publications concering the Jubilee and other Luther celebrations throughout the country and Europe; Jubilee committee work and arrangement activities for specific events; a commemorative stamp issued for the anniversary; Jubilee publicity materials; and publications concerning Martin. Luther. Files are those of Jubilee Coordinator Norman G. Folkers. Other correspondents include Lutheran Council in the USA (LCUSA) General Secretary John R.
