Communications Bureau correspondence files (1971-1976 contain correspondence; memoranda; reports; seminar minutes, evaluations, and related materials; Lutheran communications organizations and commissions' minutes, newsletters, and project proposals; news clippings; and news releases regarding the Bureau's work in providing communications service to Lutheran bodies in the western U.S. Files concern regional communications seminars and workshops and Lutheran Communications project proposals. News releases (1971-1975), produced by the Bureau, concern Lutheran activities in the western U.S., including youth activities; chburches resonse to economic disasters; social service work; Lutheran church and musical group events; workshops, chaplains'retreats, theological conferences, and seminars on various subject; Lutheran political. Activities; seminary president and pastors resignations and appointments; campus ministry; church body statements; and volunteer work. Files are those of Bureau Director Herb W. David.
