Nigel Hamilton's research materials gathered for his biography of John F. Kennedy, "JFK: Reckless Youth" (NY: Random House, 1992). The files document Kennedy's life until his election to Congress, including information related to the Kennedy family; his father Joseph P. Kennedy (including his unpublished memoir); JFK's school years; his military service during World War II; his many health problems; his relationship with suspected Nazi spy Inga Arvad; copies of correspondence with Lem Billings; and Kennedy's election to Congress from Mass. There are also transcribed interviews with JFK friends and associates; videotape copies of documentary films and television programs; untranscribed tape recorded interviews; and drafts and manuscripts of "JFK: Reckless Youth."
