This collection is a letter from Robert Penn Warren, dated Minneapolis, Minnesota, March 23, 1950, to Bayless Hardin, Kentucky Historical Society. Warren asks for assistance in finding a picture of Col. Solomon P. Sharp for a Life Magazine article about his novel based on the Beauchamp-Sharp tragedy in Frankfort, Kentucky, which occurred in 1825.
