Ford papers, 1906-1945 (bulk 1914-1918).

Chiefly postcards, but also photographs and diaries relating to Ford's military career in New Mexico, Mexico and France. Includes photographs and postcard photographs from the punitive expedition into Mexico in 1916, and his service in France in 1918, as well as copies of a diary kept in Mexico from 1916 to 1917, and an original diary kept in France in 1918. Postcard photographs depict images of tents, trains, troops, and an airplane.

U.s. Army Telegrapher and railroad telegrapher; Ford joined the Army in 1915 and was in Columbus, N.M. with the 1st U.S. Cavalry during the Pancho Villa raid into Columbus in 1916.
