Lutheran Education Statistics, 1967-1980.

Lutheran education statistics (1967-1980) for Lutheran high schools, four year and junior colleges, and seminaries were compiled annually by the Office of Research, Planning, and Development in cooperation with the educational institutions. Files contain completed statistical sheets sent by the individual institutions to the Office at the Office's request. Also included are statistical findings; requests for statistics; and memoranda and forms sent to the individual schools. The last box in the collection contains correspondence with and survey sheets completed by and regarding Lutheran college professors in the fields of anthropology, economics, political science, social psychology, and sociology. Professors were possible candidates for involvement in the Office's statistical projects. Survey sheets, dated in the. 1960s, contain information regarding each professor's academic training, statistical research experience, and statistical course instruction.
