Summary: Collection consists of a photocopy of an unpublished 112 page autobiography written by Kahn in 1964 at age 82. Includes information on many Jewish families and merchants in New Mexico and Kahn's experiences as a merchant in Santa Fe, Albuquerque, Bernalillo, San Pedro, and Gallup, New Mexico. Kahn also provides extensive information on his family history, including his wife Martha M. Kahn; sons Walter S. and Albert M. Kahn; brothers Karl, Siegfried, Julius, Paul, and Heinrich Herman Kahn; and sisters Johanna, Mina, and Bertha Kahn. Kahn also discusses the history of the Santa Fe Jewish Temple and his experiences in New Mexico with friends such as Abraham L. Zinn, Samuel Moreel, Emil Pick, and Henry Pick.
