Boykin Wright papers, 1906-1932.

The collection consists of papers of Boykin Wright from 1906-1932. The papers consist of correspondence, speeches, scrapbooks, photographs, and newspaper clippings. The correspondence includes letters dealing with the administration of his father, Franklin Wright's estate (1919-1932) in Newton County (Ga.), his law practice, and letters to his son, Boykin C. Wright regarding business and personal matters. The speeches include Wright's remarks before the Academy of Richmond County, the University of Georgia Alumni Association, and other events in Augusta and Richmond County.

Boykin Wright (1852-1932), lawyer and politician, married Margaret Constance Cabell in 1875. Their children were Boykin Cabell Wright, Margarite Wright (Hillman), and Constance Wright (Jackson).
