The collection consists of photographs relating to the United Packinghouse, Food, and Allied Workers and its predecessor, the United Packinghouse Workers of America, from 1943-1968. Includes photographs of conferences and conventions (1943-1966); an organizing meeting in Savannah (Ga.); voter registration drive in Memphis (Tenn.); the fifth constitutional convention of the Alabama Industrial Union Council; and of particular interest, strikers at various plants located in Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee.
