John Paul Jones papers, 1874-1933.

The collection consists of papers of John Paul Jones from 1874-1933. The papers document Jones' military service, business interests, and membership in various social organizations. Materials relating to Jones' service with the U.S. Army include correspondence from Jones to his family during the Spanish-American War (1898), correspondence (1916-1931) regarding Jones' pension, and printed materials pertaining to veterans' affairs and the National Guard. Records documenting Jones' painting and paperhanging business include bank records, correspondence, and account books.
