Hutchinson [Hutcheson] family Civil War letters, 1861-1865 (bulk 1864).

These are unusually descriptive Civil War letters by three brothers of Campbell Co., GA, to their father and sisters who lived in the Hutcheson Ferry Road area west of Palmetto, GA. They requested news from home, asked after slaves, described medical services and the Battle of Atlanta, and shared philosophies of religion and the war. Joseph's account book and compositions are included.
