Morgan G. Bulkeley political scrapbooks, 1888-1917.

Scrapbooks created by Bulkeley primarily documenting his years as Governor of Connecticut, 1889-1893. One volume consists of incoming letters from years after his governorship, 1894-1917, which covers his term as United States Senate. Another contains memorabilia from and invitations to such events as the International American Congress and the Worlds Columbian Exposition. The volume dating 1888-1889 contains campaign memorabilia and several ribbons from the Connecticut Historical Society's commemoration of the United States Constitution. Inside the back cover of the 1892 memorabilia volume are invitations to Mrs. Bulkeley from the Colonial Dames and D.A.R.
