Grant histories include grant acreage; tract township legal description; name of Deputy Surveyor conducting survey; survey date; surveyor's contract date; and Indian grantee name. Survey plats include boundary dimensions; adjoining tract owner or claimant names; degree and minute variation between true and magnetic meridians.
