Receiver's account of payments received for land purchased prior to July 1, 1820, 1821-1827.

Payments received for land initially purchased under the credit system are listed in entries which include purchase date; purchaser name and residence; tract legal description; amount received; interest paid (i.e., included in total amount received); discount amount allowed; receipt date and number. For August 6, 1821 - September 30, 1821 payments are divided into two lists (i.e., "cash abstract" and "cash stated in abstract of relinquishments") which also include price per acre and name of person making payment. After October 1, 1821 the class of land also is included as well as the installment number or an indication that the payment was made "in full."
