Christmas cards, 1958-1970s, both in albums and individual, that were sent to the family of Isaac and Gertrude Taylor in Chapel Hill, N.C., from friends and family. Also included are three line drawings commissioned by the Taylors for Christmas cards of pine trees (Pinus virginiana, Pinus echinata, and Pinus taeda).

Dr. Isaac Montrose Taylor (1921-1996) was dean of the University of North Carolina Medical School, 1961-1976. He and his wife Gertrude and their five children, Alexander (1947-1993), James Vernon (1948- ), Kate Child (1949- ), Livingston (1950- ), and Hugh Cole (1952- ), lived in Chapel Hill, N.C.
