Perkins in Hartford, Conn., in 1871 and proprietor of the Rhode Island Label Works in Providence, R.I., in 1893; includes letter from Martha Talcott stating that she chose to live in Simsbury, Conn., because it is at the junction of the canal and Connecticut Western Railroad.
