The Motion Picture Industry Promotion Commission was established in 1970 (1970 NM Laws, Chp. 11, Sec. 1-2). The Commission was abolished and its duties were transferred to the Dept. of Development's Board of Economic Development in 1976 (1976 NM Laws, Chp. 26, Sec. 1-2).
