Refinancing and rebuilding the Central Pacific: 1899-1910.

Consists of a photocopy of a typewritten manuscript that was written by David F. Myrick titled "Refinanacing and Rebuilding the Central Pacific: 1899-1910." The manuscript represents an address given by Myrick to the Golden Spike Symposium at the University of Utah, Salt Lake City, in 1969. It gives a detailed history of the Central Pacific Railroad in Utah and Nevada following its near collapse through to an attempt that was made by Collis P. Huntington, Leland Stanford, and other members of the "Big Four" to refinance and rebuild the company.
