Fort Sumter National Monument "Dockside II study," 1987.

Photocopy of an historical study (25 p., with additional pages of maps and plates) of a proposed construction site situated at the foot of Calhoun Street in Charleston (S.C.). Study traces the succession of structures and businesses located at the site including wharves, piers, and a lumber company, and assesses the archeological significance of the area.

Dr. Reynolds was born in California in 1939. He received his BA from the University of California, Santa Barbara in 1961, his MA from Duke in 1963 and PhD from Duke in 1964. He taught at the United States Naval Academy from 1964-1968. He came to the University of Maine in 1968, and was made full professor in 1974. He left the University of Maine in 1976.
