Biographical and writings files (1963-1986) of the U.S.A. National Committee of the Lutheran World Federation (USANC) and Lutheran World Ministries (LWM) General Secretary Paul A. Wee contain curriculum vitae, biographical press releases, correspondence, speeches, papers, sermons, lectures, bible studies, letters to newspaper editors and government officials, and committee meeting and speech notes. Papers and addresses were given to Lutheran and ecumenical conferences; churches; and colleges regarding human rights; ecumenical issues; Martin Luther; 450th Anniversary of the Augsburg Confession; the work of the Lutheran World. Federation (LWF) and LWM; biblical passages and topics; South Africa; and the German Democratic Republic. Files pre-dating 1976 contain doctrinal statements of U.S. Lutheran churches (1963-1969) and sermon notes for a baptism conducted in 1973.
