Minutes and agenda (1947-1955) of the U.S.A. National Committee for the Lutheran World Federation are from NLC Executive and Administrative Committees as well as appointed special committees. Included are reports from Lutheran World Federation (LWF) officials, such as LWF General Secretary S.C. Michelfelder, and NLC staff, such NLC European Desk Secretary John A. Scherzer, regarding LWF activities. Discussion items regard the appointment of special commissioners and LWF staff; allocation commissioners and LWF staff; allocation. Of funds for resettlement, relief, and reconstruction efforts; requests for aid to specific areas, countries, or institutions; study projects and exchange students; conferences; and cooperation with international and national relief organizations. Minutes and agenda of the Committee on Theological Cooperation (1954-1955), a committee appointed by the Executive Committee to cooperate with the LWF's Department of Theology in administering the American part of the exchange and scholarship program, are also included.
