Cecil Bonney autobiography.

Consists of a photocopy of a typed autobiographical manuscript written by Cecil Bonney, a native of southern New Mexico. The work is Bonney's undocumented, firsthand account of many events that took place immediately following the Territorial Period in southern New Mexico, especially in Lincoln and Eddy counties. According to Bonney's account, he participated in many of these events, which usually also involved other second generation pioneer settlers to the area. This work, which was published in 1971 under the title "Looking Over My Shoulder: Seventy-five Years in the Pecos Valley," includes an introduction by Peter Hurd.
