An astrological experiment propos'd to the Revd Dr. Dr̲̲̲s, occasion'd by his late poem on the Newtonian system, [1728].

This is a satirical reply in verse to a poem published in 1728 by John Theophilus Desaguliers, entitled The Newtonian system of the world, the best model of government [Foxon D234]. This 90-line poem in rhyming couplets makes gentle fun of the attempt by Desaguliers to apply the principles of Sir Isaac Newton to a wider range of human experience. The manuscript contains footnote references. The poem apparently was never printed.
