Correspondence with classmates from Harvard University and with his family; letter from Thomas Savage, an instructor in Natchez, Miss., states that he wishes to introduce Holley's excellent magazine to the community; letter to his tailor, Mr. Lasher, describes clothing of the day in a humorous vein; letter to his neice in 1834 describes the life of a bachelor in Hudson, New York in 1834.
