Family of Concord, Mass. Farmer Nathan Barrett was born May 1, 1763, to Nathan and Miriam Hunt Barrett. In his young manhood he went to Maine and participated in the founding of Hope in Lincoln County. Returned to Concord on his father's death to take over the family farm on Punkatasset Hill.
