Monograph commemorating the 75th anniversary of the establishment of the Florida State Board of Health / Albert V. Hardy. 1964.

Portions of a text which was later published as: Millstones and milestones : Florida's public health from 1889 / Albert V. Hardy and May Pynchon (Monograph no. 7 of the Florida State Board of Health). Included are drafts of part I, chapters 1-7 and part II, the section on sanitary engineering. The letter of transmittal, dated August 6, 1964, is to "Bureau and Division Directors and Others Concerned," from Albert V. Hardy, Director of the Bureau of Research of the Florida State Board of Health. Dr. Hardy states that Mrs. Pynchon has been assembling historical material for several months. The memorandum is accompanied by "one section of the monograph seeking your suggestions and recommendations for improving this both in content and presentation." He is also "seeking and urgently need assistance in preparing the best and most appropriate statement on the historical development of your particular activity."
