John Young Brown letter : 1899.

This collection contains a letter written by John Young Brown of Louisville, Kentucky, to John McCord of Lebonnon, Kentucky. The document was written June 16, 1899. The letter concerns the upcoming election and the bitter divisions within the Democratic Party. Young states that, "the party is in retched condition," and could not "promise the results" of the election.
