Adjutant General's annual reports to the Governor (1864-1865) contain copies of correspondence and telegrams between the Adjutant General, War Department officials, and the Governor concerning the Civil War. Also included are numerous tabular statements exhibiting troop quotas and militia enrollment, usually arranged by county or military unit.
