Company clothing records, 1861-1864.

Volumes, arranged in various formats, indicate clothing issuance to soldiers of Company E, 17th Infantry; Company K, 140th Infantry; Company B, 145th Infantry; Company E, 34th Infantry; and Company G, 1st Cavalry Regiment. Notes include soldier's name, rank, enlistment date and place; clothing issuance date and type; clothing value; soldier and witness signatures attesting to clothing receipt. One volume for Company I, 17th Infantry, also notes issued camp and garrison equipment values. A volume for Company G, 1st Cavalry, also contains a listing of Iowa Brigade soldiers.
