County enrollment records include enrolling officer and commissioner names and addresses; officer appointment and acceptance dates; date and number of enrollment blanks sent to officer; form return date; number of able-bodied men in county; numbers of men in old and new regiments; and total number of men in the militia. Volume also contains an abstract of enrolling officers' claims, which provide officer's name; description of services; and fee payment amount.
