There are thirty documents in this collection which ranges in date from the year 1799 to 1861. All of the documents concern land dealings transacted by various members of the Taylor family. Included among the documents are letters, indentures, survey accounts and lists, plat maps, and court documents for land located primarily in Hickman County, Clark County, Shelby County, and Jefferson County. All counties are located in Kentucky. Many of the land descriptions are given in "metes and bounds". There are eight documents that, either include a survey map, or are solely a survey map devoid of description.
