The collection contains Borderland Coal Sales Company and Crystal Spring Land Company accountants' reports, audit reports, check register, complaints and compliments, correspondence, financial statemsnts, stockholders meetings minutes, statements of assets and liablilities, and tax returns. Of interest are blueprints for an apartment and garage for L.E. Armentrout, Cincinnati, Ohio; diagrams showing the "tonnage to be let" to producing companies in the Williamson Field, by L.D. James, Roanoke, Va.; a printed map "Norfolk and Western Railway Coal Districts & Mines," 1929 March; a scrapbook of corporation records, 1911-1923; a cancelled stock certificates book; an appraisal book for the plat at Arment, W. Va., 1917; a photograph of coal cars; and papers regarding the dissolution of the Company. Correspondents include Stone, Secretary-Treasurer Ernest B. Fishburn and Helen Witzenbacher.
