Fragment of a gathering or bound volume consisting of ten letters of administration (printed forms completed by William Murray and certified by James Glen, Governor of the Province of South Carolina). Letters of administration are for the estates of Samuel Davison ("St. Paul's Parish planter"); James Benoist ("Craven County planter"); Marianne Godin; George Hunter ("of St. Phillip's Parish"); Robert Hamilton (a Charleston tailor); Patrick Brown ("of Georgia, Indian trader"); John Sinclair (a Charleston merchant); Joseph Hext ("St. Bartholomew Parish planter"); Edward Perry ("St. Paul's Parish planter"); and William Smith (carpenter of Colleton County).
