Includes a 17th century copy of a poem, The session on the critics, by [William?] Pattison and a prologue and epilogue to Esop [by Vanbrugh?]. Some of the poems seem to have been written by Cambridge men. Also, excerpts from and comments on various works on British topography and place names by Augustus Antoninus, Ravennas Anonymus, William Burton, Ptolemy Francis Wise, Leland, Speed and others, made by Rev. [James] Baldwin, to whom two letters used for notes are addressed at Quidenham and Bunwell, Norf., undated, and 1736.
