Mildred Cluff was born on April 20, 1866 in Laie, Oahu, Hawaii. Her father, Benjamin Cluff, was on a mission to the Hawaiian Islands. Her mother Mary Ellen Foster had been called to follow him to Hawaii, with their children. Mildred married Richard Coope Harvey in Logan, Cache County, Utah on December 15, 1886. She and Richard had ten children. In 1900, after the birth of her daughter Margaret Lucile, the family moved from Heber Valley, Utah to Alberta, Canada. Farm life was hard. Family members...
