Papers, 1906-1970.

Includes correspondence, personal journals, and an unpublished autobiography, magazine articles with the original pieces, promotional materials, photograph albums, scrapbooks, and memorabilia. His early journals and correspondence are written in German and his correspondence with Brazilian friends and officials in Portuguese. Of special importance is the unpublished book-length autobiography written in the early 1940's. Much of the correspondence from the 1930's through the 1960's chronicles his dealings with various lecture agencies and with hunting clients.
