Letters sent to and from Jordan H. Brady during his service in the Northern States Mission, 1911-1913. Letters exchanged between his daughter, Lucy, and his wife. Correspondence from the Office of the Northern States Mission; German E. Ellsworth being president at the time. Brady spends most of his mission in Illinois and Indiana. Letters discuss instructions for missionaries, missionary fund shortages, Elder Brady's health, the cold temperature of Chicago, homesickness, selling livestock, Lucy's desire to serve a mission and other topics. 2 boxes of letters, photocopied. Letters span from 1911-1913.
