Henderson, NV high school student council folklore, 2002.

Collection of stories which expose two high school's student council's traditions and means of organization. Augspurger suggests that many of the traditions are a result of intense high school rivalry and customs. She touches on how each council stove for excellence and how this goal played a part in the council's overall aura. Augspurger asserts the folklore holds student council communities together and is often the reason for successful endeavors.

Plans for the David O. McKay building began in 1952 after an evaluation by the Brigham Young University College of Education concluded that the existing building for the College of Education were no longer meeting the growing needs of the program.
