Beverly Chew (B. A., Hobart College, 1869), a founding member of the Grolier Club, served as its librarian from 1887 to 1892 and as president from 1892 to 1896. From 1887 on, Chew was associated with the Metropolitan Trust Company of New York, retiring as vice-president in 1920.
