Biography [microform] (Typescript).

Born in Upper Canada, daughter of Stephen Chipman and Amanda Washburn. Conversion of her parents to Mormonism, 1837; initial immigration to DeWitt, Missouri, and then on to Lee County, Iowa; experiences in Nauvoo, Illinois; exodus west; arrival in Salt Lake Valley, 1847; marriage to John Eldredge, 1849; settlement in Salt Lake City, then in American Fork, Utah about 1851; mission of John Eldredge to Australia, 1852; pioneer life. (Part of the Adams Camp Collection, Daughters of the Utah Pioneers.).
