Born in Albion, Home District, Upper Canada, daughter of Parshall and Hannah Terry. Early life; family's conversion to Mormonism in 1837; gathering with the Mormons in Missouri; marriage to John Crawford in 1841; his death and her remarriage to Nelson Hansen in 1846 in the Nauvoo Temple; his disassociation with the Church; their move to Iowa in 1848; separation of Marillah and her husband in 1861, she to Utah and he to California; journey across the plains; settlement of Rockville, Utah; frontier and pioneer life; death, 1894.
