Early life; family's conversion to Mormonism in 1832; marriage to Horace Burgess; mobocratic persecutions upon the Mormons in Missouri; association with the Pulsipher and Burgess families; exodus west; stay at Winter Quarters, Nebraska; Horace Burgess' marriage to Bolania Pulsipher as a plural wife; death of Almira, 1868; marriages of Hyrum Burgess and George Martin Burgess (her sons).
