Returned missionaries and their tales, 2002.

Caldwell collects stories from missionaries in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and finds that the stories tend to separate into four categories: those that involve mission rules, those involving the missionaries' peers, likeable stories, and personal tales. Caldwell finds that missionaries relate stories to educate others, as a stress release, or to bond with others.
