Joseph Smith letter, 1842.

Photocopy of a handwritten and signed letter, addressed to Amost Peterson, dated 15 March 1842, and composed in Nauvoo, Illinois. Smith writes that he is sending a piece of cloth from a recently acquired mummy. He also says that the message of the Lord would be carried over the waters with great success.
