Drama professor. Fredrica Shattuck received her B.A. (1905) in Drama from the University of Wisconsin. She was an Instructor (1907-1916) in Speech at Iowa State College; in 1917 she was named a Professor and Head of Speech. For the next 20 years Shattuck produced plays at Iowa State. She retired as Chair in 1931, but continued to teach until 1956. After her retirement, Shattuck became the librarian of the Browsing Library in Iowa State's Memorial Union. She was active in...
