Typewritten and bound transcript of an interview conducted by Douglas Tobler for the Charles Redd Center for Western Studies Geneva Steel Archives Oral History Project on September 28, 1990. Mathesius tells of his father's immigration to the U.S., experiences as director of U.S. Steel Corp., moving to and living in Utah, and relationship with Mormon Church leaders.
