Some of the correspondence is with Cecil B. DeMille, the American motion picture producer. Also includes newspaper coverage of Milner's detention in the Soviet Zone of Germany in 1949.

Victor Milner (1893-1972) was a movie cinematographer. He won an Oscar for photography in 1934 for the film Cleopatra, and again for cinematography for How Green is My Valley. He was one of Cecil B.
