Consists of drawings and other documentary materials generated by architect Albert Chase McArthur. Also includes materials generated, acquired or compiled by his nephew Warren McArthur, Jr. and his son, Manfred McArthur in conjunction with preserving the legacy of Albert Chase McArthur as the principal architect for the Arizona Biltmore Hotel. The collection spans 1900-1980, and is arranged in two subgroups: I. Albert Chase McArthur; and II. Warren McArthur, Jr./Arizona Biltmore Research Group.

Emry Kopta (May 22, 1884 - May 20, 1953) was born in Austria to Vaclav and Flora Kopta. Vaclav was a distinguished concert violinist and music teacher in Czechoslovakia and the U.S.; during a tour with the New York and Philadelphia Philharmonic Orchestras he met Flora Wilson, who was from a Philadelphia aristocratic family.
