Files (1940-1947) contain correspondence and publications regarding the Commission's publicity activities. Correspondence includes that of N.M. Ylvisaker, Service Commission head, with Osborne Hauge, NLC Publicity Director, regarding Hauge's requests for Service Commission information including personal interest stories and names of servicemen. General publicity files include Hauge's requests, service center lists, news stories, and letters from servicemen overseas for publicity use. Also included is a file of Carl Solberg's articles regarding his service center visits. Solberg was sent by the Commission to report on service center activities across the country. Publications, handbooks, and reports produced by the Commission are also included.
